GLASGOW'S WINTER WONDERLAND

With George Square under redevelopment in Glasgow, in 2025 it was decided that the city’s main festive event should take place at Glasgow Green and return to St Enoch Square.

Despite initial uncertainty of the new location, we were able to deliver a bigger and better experience which was a resounding success.

Over 25,000 people visited the ice-rink alone and enjoyed an on site family panto, Santa’s Grotto, rides and attractions, including an Observation Wheel.

In a unique collaboration, Scottish brewer, Innis & Gunn, created the city’s biggest ever festive beer hall with a 700 long table seated capacity.

Featuring daily live music, fire pits, festive cocktails and food from award winning Cromars Fish & Chips and Dockyard Social, the beer hall quickly became the city’s favourite festive destination.

A visitors favourite was the choice of street food vendors and festive drink specialists available throughout the Green.

Winter Wonderland also featured a programme of additional activities including ASN sessions, pop up music and festive décor recycling workshops for families.

Sustainability was a key requirement to the delivery of the tender and we were delighted to bring the world’s first solar powered observation wheel to Glasgow at St Enoch Square.

Also taking centre stage at St Enoch Square was a popular Bar Hub, another first for the city, which featured daily live music and many public spontaneous singalongs, alongside festive shopping and seasonal food and drinks.
